Can you say “Lame -O”?

So it’s been almost 2 months since I posted anything on here. “Cool” as an old friend of mine would say. So now is the time to get back on the posting train and say something worth while.
So I’ve been in charge of overseeing the sound system design, equipment, and install for our new church building. Let me just say that I am fully under qualified for this job. But at the same time it has and will be a great learning experience for sure. There is an incredible amount of details and know how that goes into something like this. It’s very interesting and fun but pretty overwhelming when you’re working with budgets and deadlines and making decisions that will affect the quality of sound in a brand new building. I also get to find out how much equipment really costs and how much people are getting ripped off. It will be very nice to have Avioms finally. Whoo hoo! Let’s just say that Avioms are like having quick release on your bike!
